Utah Tech Policy Breakfast

February 12, 2020 7:00 am - 8:00 am East Senate Building, Beehive Room - 120 E Capitol St - Salt Lake City, UT 84103

Join us for a breakfast panel discussion on Utah tech policy for 2020 and beyond.

How should data privacy be regulated in Utah?

Are some tech companies too big?

How can state legislators craft good state tech policy?

These questions and others are on the minds of state legislators across the country. At this breakfast panel discussion, we’ll connect you with scholars and tech policy experts who can help answer these important questions as you consider them during the legislative session.

Expert Panelists:

  • James Czerniawski, Policy Analyst for Tech and Innovation, Libertas Institute
  • Will Rinehart, Sr. Research Fellow, Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University
  • Billy Easley, Sr. Policy Analyst, Americans for Prosperity

All members and staff are welcome. Breakfast will be provided for the first 40 attendees.

This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University and the Libertas Institute.
