Madison Schmidt is the Academic and Student Programs Manager at the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University. She oversees the recruitment, selection, training, professional development, and placement for students in the Undergraduate Research Fellowship, Graduate Research Fellowship, and Koch Scholars programs.
Previous employment includes Strata Policy, the Institute of Government and Politics at USU, and the United States Senate. In 2017, Madison was awarded a Generation Liberty Fellowship with the State Policy Network and attended their general meetings in San Antonio, Texas. She is skilled in communication strategy, political theory, and operational management. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking with her husband and trying to convince him that they need to get a dog.
Madison holds Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Journalism, with an emphasis in public relations, from Utah State University.
