Prithvijit Mukherjee is an experimental economist who uses game theory and microeconomic theory to study individual behavior and group decision in various scenarios. Mukherjee’s research on this has included the effect of misinformation on voting decisions and investment decisions on local public goods. He is interested in studying the structure in which people interact with others around them to influence their decisions and group outcomes. He uses both laboratory and online experiments to study behavior. Mukherjee is also interested in health economics and is involved in a project studying the effect of immigration policy in the U.S. on health outcomes in minority communities.

He received his PhD in Economics from Georgia State University in 2019.
